Analiza's sister shared her story. She wrote: “Analiza is a first generation student and she is struggling. She has chosen a major that she is passionate about, but is not succeeding academically in. She's become very sad because she is conflicted with changing majors. Additionally, Analiza is working two jobs that have overnight shifts and she has morning classes at 9 and 10am. I would love for Analiza to receive words of encouragement, to remind her that she is not alone and that things do get better. She needs to know that her sacrifices are meaningful, and that even if she does change majors, it will work out.”
