Brent's story:

Brent’s neighbor shared Brent’s story. She wrote: “Brent has a disability called Batten's disease, which impacts the individual mentally and physically. Brent is one of the oldest living people with this condition, and has had a challenging life with many health problems. He and his family have always been so positive and have been great neighbors to my family. Despite his struggles, Brent keeps smiling! His favorite thing is going outside every day for the mail, so receiving letters just to say ‘Hi’ and with personal stories or words of encouragement would brighten the day for him and his family in an unimaginable way! Something to consider–Brent's disability impacts his brain development, so letters can be short or include pictures, but anything is great and his family can help him read everything!”
