Outgoing Mail to Germany + Day 1 of Love Letter Writing

More Love Letters has a Christmas Campaign every year during Christmas called the 12 Days Of Love Letter Writing. I try to participate every year and today is Day 1. Today I'm sending out a Christmas card that is headed to Toni from Germany for the More Love Letters Christmas Campaign.

Toni's story:
Toni is currently struggling + in need of some encouragement during this season. His story is related as follows: “Toni is a young man in his early thirties who has had to live in deep depression for a long time. Over the last fifteen years, he has lost many jobs, several residences, and much hope in his life due to this illness. But each time he decides not to give up. Toni has learned a lot about his illness, and doesn’t want to be controlled by it and is fighting for a normal life. Despite his struggles, he has completed two different vocational training courses. Toni already has a new home, is saving all his income, and continues to work on himself. Toni is a very strong, great man who takes care of everyone and helps wherever he can. But he doesn't see how wonderful and strong he really is. Unfortunately, he only sees his failures and blames himself for not being successful enough. I wish that Toni would realize how valuable he is, with all the empathy he has for all people. I hope he can see that he is not alone with this disease, that there are many other people who suffer and he is not alone. I hope others can tell him that he is not the only man with these deep, dark thoughts. I hope we can make Toni feel valued and loved.”
