Overview
Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo is a 2016-2017 Korean Drama that is centered around 2 main characters that are athletes in college, a weightlifter named Kim Bok Joo and a swimmer named Jung Joon Hyung. As the drama develops, they find out that they actually know each other from childhood and slowly end up relying on each other.

Reason(s) why I liked the Drama 
I like that in this drama, Kim Bok Joo and Jung Joon Hyung started off as acquaintances, then friends, and eventually a couple. At first, Bok Joo liked Joon Hyung's older brother/cousin, Jung Jae Yi, and Joon Hyung was the one that actually liked Bok Joo first. It's such a cute story of how young love can happen and how they end up helping each other out. The only two things that I wish were different in this drama were that Bok Joo's uncle, Kim Dae Ho, would end up with the coach, Choi Sung Eun, cause he was really into her and the coach could care less about him cause she was in love with the professor, Yoon Deok Man. The other thing would be that the love story of Lee Seon Ok and Jo Tae Kwon (friends of Bok Joo and Joon Hyung) would have developed more cause they also made a cute couple. I don't want to give everything away so if you have a chance check it out.

P.S. The reason why I picked this drama for this month is due to the pick up line and the World Cup 2018 that is currently taking place. The pick up line is "Do you like Messi?" Messi is an Argentina/Barcelona soccer player and he was playing in the World Cup until Argentina was eliminated in the Round of 16.
