Exploring... Topgolf

By Lifeofpjern - March 18, 2018

I'm not the biggest fan of golf but I've heard that Topgolf is still fun even if it's golf, so my family  and I decided to go check it out on St. Patrick's Day and see for ourselves what the hype was all about.
The bays
The patio
When you first get there, you have to sign up for a bay (1 bay can accommodate up to 8 guests but only up to 6 guests can play at a time). Since there was a waiting list, we decided to go to the patio and sit down to eat.
We ordered:

GUAC + CHIPS
Homemade guacamole + tortilla chips + fresh salsa

PEPPERONI FLATBREAD
Marinara + five-cheese blend + pepperoni + dusted with oregano

BUFFALO CHICKEN SLIDERS
Buffalo fried chicken + lettuce + tomato + ranch dressing

GRILLED CHICKEN SANDWICH
House marinated grilled chicken breast + lettuce + tomato + Dijon aioli on the side + french fries

Not only was the food great, they were quick to bring everything out as well.
Once we were finished with our food, we were assigned a bay on the second floor. There, you can play as long as you want, most people would get an hour to start off and then add more time if they still wanted to continue playing. It was fun but man did I suck lol In the only game that I played, I got 6 points in total, yep haha Since we still had not gotten dessert, we decided to order a dessert at the bay.
We ordered:

SILVER DOLLARS S'MORES
A trio of marshmallow-filled chocolate chip cookie sandwiches

Idk why I thought they were ice cream sandwiches so I was a bit let down that it was marshmallows instead, but the dessert was still delicious. They also offer other fun things to do like batting cages and mini golf.
Plus, they also have an apparel store/gift shop at the entrance.
Overall, it was a great time and I'm looking forward to going back, as well as checking other Topgolf locations in the DFW area.
