Exploring... Trinity Groves

By Lifeofpjern - October 22, 2017

Trinity Groves in Dallas is a wonderful place to check out. It not only has great food, it also has wonderful snacks and even better views. I got the chance yesterday to go with my family and visit.

The first place I went with my family was Beto & Son.
When we got there the first thing you see is the patio so it makes you want to eat outside but it's actually really nice inside as well. We actually plan on eating inside the next time we visit due to the flies flying all around the food but it's still a nice place and the food was delicious. We ordered the:

 Chef Fajita Steak Skillet
Caramelized Peppers & Onions, Chimichurri, Calabacitas, Fried Onions, Chile de Arbol Glaze, Fresh Tortillas, Served with Achiote Rice & Charro Beans

Chef Beto's Mix & Match Any 2 Tacos (Chicken & Carne Asada)
Chicken Taco: Chicken Tinga, Cheese, Rajas, Chipotle Cream Sauce, Crispy Onion Strings
Carne Asada Taco: Grilled Carne Asada Steak, Cheese, Rajas, Avocado Chimichurri, Crispy Onion Strings, Chile de Arbol Glaze
Served with Charro Beans & Fresh Totillas

Sour Cream Chicken Tinga Stacked Enchiladas
Shredded Chicken Tinga, Sour Cream Sauce, Melted Cheese, Avocado, Pickled Slaw, Served with Achiote Rice

We then went to go get some dessert/snacks from the CAKE BAR and Kate Weiser Chocolate.
From the Cake Bar, we got a slice of:

WEDDING CAKE
White cake, iced with buttercream frosting

And from Kate Weiser Chocolate we got the:
2 piece Chocolate Box (Hazelnut Latte & Cookie Monster)
Hazelnut Latte: layered filling of creamy hazelnut ganache and coffee ganache
Cookie Monster: Vanilla bean ganache with cookie butter crunch

Cookie Monster Macaroon
Vanilla bean ganache with cookie butter crunch

The views of Dallas were spectacular, especially of the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge.
We actually planned on strolling by the bridge since it's right beside it but we lost track of time enjoying the food that we didn't get a chance to go. But the next time we do go to the Trinity Groves, we plan on going early so we can also go visit the bridge.
