Exploring... Bluebonnet Trails Festival

By Lifeofpjern - April 22, 2018

Over the weekend, the Bluebonnet Trails Festival took place in Ennis, TX. Unfortunately, I went with my family to check it out on Saturday, when the weather was unpleasant to say the least. It was raining all day long, from sprinkling showers to pouring rain, the rain just wouldn't stop. But the time that we were there, we checked all around the festival and grubbed on some food. Below are just some of the things we got to see and try out.

A Snickers Candied Apple and a Catfish Meal

We bought some Candied Pecans (pictured above) and Candied Almonds

Overall, we had a good time despite the rainy weather. I was expecting to see Bluebonnets at the festival since it's in the name, but one of the ladies in the information tent showed me a map of their city and where I could see tons of bluebonnets nearby. In the next post, I'll be talking more about that and my experience seeing so many bluebonnets up close. Stay tuned.
